    Default Machinger gloves

After reading about them here, I purchased a pair of Machinger gloves to FMQ. I usually wear the gloves with the little rubber dots on them.
I just started FMQ-ing a baby quilt with a heart vine pattern and I have to say I have NEVER had such a consistent stitch length before I tried these gloves! (I usually get really tiny stitches, then really big stitches.) I'm really pleased!

So, if you've been on the fence about trying them....give them a try! Best $15.00 I've spent in a long time.

I have been using them for years. One of mine has some holes in them, and I may have to get a new pair soon. Well worth it. They are so comfortable!

Wow! You look like a pro! Beautiful quilting ... and I agree about the Machingers gloves. It's the only tool besides a darning foot I always recommend for beginners.

So funny, I was thinking about posting a thread with the same subject! You're absolutely right, Watson. I also just got a pair a couple days ago after having read about them so often, and I've never had my FMQ come out so well. Combined with my new foam insulation table to raise the level of the table to my machine bed, plus a supreme slider combined with the vinyl covering the table, it was just leaps and bounds above what I was doing before. Your FMQ looks great! Machingers are awesome. Pretty cheap on Amazon, for those that use.

I no longer quilt on my DSM, but when I did I also found that Machingers were invaluable. And they are not that expensive. Many places sell them for about $8.

I am glad it works for you. Remember if you need to stop, don't stop on a curve.

I've been using them since they first came on the market. Mine fit like second skin. It never fails when someone sees me using them will say I use the garden gloves that cost a $1 and they have never tried the Machingers to know the difference.

You guys have convinced me to order these gloves, but I'm not sure which size. My hand measures exactly 7 inches. Should I get the sm/med or the med/large?
