    Default Make it wider

I finally put together my grandson quilt top, golf theme with applique Like it a lot however it needs to be wider but not longer. Most of the blocks were a version of a nine patch. Can anyone suggest how to make it wider but not longer?

Without seeing it I was going to say borders but then you'd probably have to do it all the way around which would defeat your purpose.
    Can you post a pic?

Can't you just continue with borders on the side & not the length? That's what I would do.

If you put borders on two sides, and made them a little busy, it could distract from the fact that they are only on two sides.

Add two more columns (or more) of 9 patches on either side.

Ditto ....... a photo would help everyone give you some design ideas that would be feasible.

Right now, it is all totally in the dark as we have no clue what you are working with.

How about doing a long panels on each side in green and applique golf flags on poles?

For the charity quilts I make I just add borders to the sides. They look fine to me.
