I also have the Steam Fast Iron and just love it. I keep it right at my sewing table.
It does a great job on steam or no steam. I have had mine a couple of years and
    would buy another.

I haven't burned my hands with the Clover Wedge iron. I don't see how I can. I do have small hands, ring size 5. I have this mini iron that is has a steam feature. It gets very hot. http://www.nancysnotions.com/product...+steam+iron.do

Burning myself has nothing to do with the size of my hands; it's the fact that I want to put my index finger on the barrel of the iron and there's nothing there to protect or stop me.

The Wedge iron has no barrel. I think you are confusing the Wedge with the Mini iron. There is a big difference.

Love my Rowena travel iron for all the same reasons.

I too use a travel iron that has steam. I've dropped it many times but it hasn't started to leak yet. I'd love a little Clover but I know I would mindlessly grab it and burn myself.

    Clover Wedge Iron: http://www.nancysnotions.com/product...+wedge+iron.do
I don't see how anyone could hold the iron to burn their fingers.

    Clover Mini Iron: http://www.nancysnotions.com/product...26+tote+set.do
The metal parts get very hot.
