I haven't been in front of my machine for almost two weeks now! This work thing is getting in the way of my quilting time! Miss everyone on the board too!

I work daily too. This is my 25th year with about 5 more to go. I have been trying to pace myself with new hobbies and interests. I try to get something started, finished or something to travel with. I like to ride and quilt. I have a quilt that I can do in pieces so I have something that will be workable in the car. I have about 3 quilts in varies state of working. I bought a new sewing machine last month and have been trying to learn how to sew and quilt with it. I would like to spend the weekends with the machine but my husband likes his attention too. Your machine misses you too.

I know just what you mean. DGD is out of school for the summer and grandma is kid sitting. Almost no sewing time for me. I can't wait for school to start.

I know how you feel. Mine was in the shop for three weeks, then it was 101 degrees here! (Not really quilting weather!) I am supposed to be working on a baby quilt right now--too darn hot!!!

Because of the fire, reconstruction and unpacking I haven't sewn for two months and I really miss it.
