I bought them years ago when I was a beginner and was stash building. I loved them but now I have a large “fabric Collection” so I don’t buy much anymore and I try to stay out of fabric stores.

This is an assortment that will work well together. I keep thinking that I should do this but I immediately take them out of my cart at QiAD. Now I will reconsider.

Because you guys are just a bunch of enablers — and I needed a wee more to get free shipping — I just received a Moda scrap bag from QIAD. About 30 strips of about 30” all at least 3” wide including the selvage and all from the same fabric line. I don’t find jelly rolls to be good value, but I’m very please with this scrap bag.

    How did you fair?
where do you order from? What site? I am interested

Would these be good for a curved log cabin quilt? I've always wanted to do one but can never justify the amount of fabric eaten up in the seam allowances for any kind of log cabin block. How many strips usually come in a bag? I'm guessing I may have to get several bags + supplement a bit from stash yardage to get enough light/dark contrast even if I keep it scrappy, which I'd be okay with.

I buy them from QIAD when they are on sale 6 for $50. I have quite a stash of them now. In the past I have requested Civil War, 1930's, solids, and others. I am never disappointed with them.
