Has anyone done the Mountainpeek Creations pattern called 312 Shadowbox? I'm one of those visual quilters who may need help on getting started. The directions look well written but then there is me. If I knew who had done that pattern it might really be helpful. Thanks in advance.
And if you have a picture of yours...nice!!!

Wow I love this pattern...it is really easy...I have made 2 so far...I think the hardest part for me was picking the material for them.
Here is a pic of mine, there are other's on the board, if you do a search and type in shadow box

I'll try and post some of the feature fabrics that I want to use in the boxes. It will be a graduation quilt for a grandson. Yours sure looks nice.

Have you decided which ones you want to use as the panels? From there your sashing strips that go around the panels are decided along with the corner stones.

Well I thought I would use all of them and some maybe twice. I have Kona black for the shadow but must buy a neutral for the rest of the background I think.

If it were me, I would use a light beige or cream color with the black or white which would really make the panels pop

I have also made a quilt using this pattern. All you have to worry about is making sure you align the sashing. Very fast and looks great.
