    Default Ms 150

The MS 150 is a bike ride from Houston to Austin to raise money for MS research. My company had it's first team enter this year, and challenged the non-riders to do something to raise money that included 150. I immediately thought of a charm quilt with 150 different squares of fabric. So I told some of my quilting friends, and the squares started coming. I think I only cut 25 of the squares and had more than I needed because of their generosity. Another friend, who rode the MS 150 for 10 years with her father, volunteered to quilt the quilt. I sold raffle tickets for $1 each, with a goal of $150, and raised $274. The winning ticket belonged to one of my co-workers, and, needless to say, she was thrilled to win the quilt.

Just another thought in case you do this again. Locally most everyone (except some of the quilds) have gone to $2 a ticket or 3 for $5. Most anyone who will spend $1 will pop for $2 and you make twice as much!

The Company's logo has that same red in it. I actually had to go searching for the right shade of red.
