    Default In my dreams

Hi quilters - I haven't been quilting much lately, but I had the weirdest dream the other night I wanted to share with you. I was looking at an internet post, and there was the quilt I was making - posted by someone else. I thought to myself what a coincidence - we are both making the same quilt. Then I looked at her second picture, and it was a picture of my grandmothers quilt, which I now own and was on my bed all thru high school (back in the dark ages) and I felt like I'd met my alternate self on the internet. It was weird enough that I woke up!! Just in case you needed a current dose of weirdness today. LOL

Not so strange, as more, interesting!

We had a cousin who went to Ireland to continue research on our family history. He came back quite shocked. He showed me a picture and said....do you know who this is? I said, yes....that's my mother (Kathryn Mary). He said...

    No.

It's Mary Kathryn, and she lives in Ireland.

She was nearly IDENTICAL to my mother, and similar names. Needless to say, it opened her eyes! LOL

I love things like this. I don't believe in coincidences. It happens for some reason, itty bitty or big.

A bad/weird dream of quilting is better than a good dream of being at work, lol.

Wouldn't it be neat to contact Mary Kathryn and share a photo of your mother!?! She and you could start a friendship.

Dreams are sometimes really wierd and I have been woken up by some crazy dream before. You really must have had the quilts on your mind when you went to sleep. No crazy at all-just strange.

I had a friend in high school that looked just like me. We looked so much alike that I got my hair cut just like hers so we could trade classes. She took my English class and I took her math class. We did that right up until she moved away to Missouri. We lost contact then, but I have often wondered if we would still look alike.

All these look-a-likes make me want to do some DNA testing. You never know what secrets you might uncover.
