    Default My goals for 2021

Really, I was thinking about what I wanted to accomplish in 2021. Looking at my 2020 list, I didn’t finish anything? I count 14 projects. Have added 3 more. So, I picked one of my projects in a bag aka PIGs. Or projects half done aka PHD. Or yet again unfinished projects aka UFOs. I slid out the bin, spread out all my pieces and sewed a few seams. Just can’t seem to find the pattern. So, I did the only thing I could, I started a new project. LOL.

Sure sounds like me! That’s why I gave up making quilt resolutions

I did the same thing yesterday. I opened a kit that I bought a year ago only to discover it is short some of the fabric. I probably will not be able to find the necessary fabric to finish it since it is that old. Bummer.

I'm not going to start any new projects until I finish ones that at least some of them have been waiting at least 3 years. LOL

My mother taught me to finish one project before I start another. I've changed that to one type of project (traditional, more or less, quilting on Tin Lizzie, crocheting edges of polar fleece on charity blankets and learning to use alcohol inks). The truth is, I've gotten really good at procrastinating.

I am working on one quilt now and have two more, maybe three. After those I want to make as many donation quilts as I can before November.

I've been cleaning my sewing room since Jan 1. Now I'm on day 5. I think I need one more day, maybe 2. What a job! But I know I'm going to be happy when it's all done. I have 3 large bags for donation and tons of junk to go in the trash. I'm pooped!

Susie, I bet you are pooped! It is a time consuming job and making all those decisions. You will have to show a picture when finished.
