    Unhappy My machine broke!

Don't know if the needle broke and knocked the presser foot loose or if the presser foot became loose and shifted causing the needle to hit it....but.....it was so close to the end of a Christmas gift quilt! And now my machine won't sew at all. Guess it's going to the sewing machine hospital asap!

So instead of getting a quilt, my grandson and his fiance got photos of the quilt on the frame and a left over block so they could see the fabric and a promise to mail the quilt to them as soon as my machine is repaired and I can finish it!

No doubt your grandson & fiance understand. Things like this happen all the time.
At least now you can finish the quilt with less pressure.

Hopefully, it will be a quick fix.

NOOOOOO! I hope you can get it fixed and it doesn't get too expensive.

I am sure they understood and will be anxiously awaiting the arrival of the quilt! Hope it is a quick and inexpensive machine repair. Like HillCountryGal mentioned above, you can do it at a slower pace now! Enjoy!
