I wonder why she sold it so cheap. It's so cool. Love it!

When I saw it, I picked it up and she just said, "Give me a dollar and it's yours". I could not believe it. Didn't see how beautiful it was until I got it home.

One of the first lone star quilt tops I have seen with the scrappy look. Usually they are solids. Now, I. Love this one...not so fond of the solids. My guess is early fifties to late sixties. It's always the unexpected, isn't it? When you set out to look for a particular item, it is hard to find. You were very fortunate. Happy for you.

Fabrics look like they are from the 30's and 40's. It's a beauty!

I was thinking 30's and 40's too. You said 'quilt top' if it is just a top it is very worth your time to quilt it and let it shine even more. Personally, I love it.

I think that the fabric is even earlier than the 40's, possibly they are from the 30's.

What a beauty! You surely lucked out, congratulations. Was this machine pieced...no, no, don't tell me it was hand pieced. Was it?
