Default Need Advice for Autograph Quilt...

HI! My Aunt Rebecca will be 85 next month. She is loved by many! There will be a B-day party open house at the church..I would like to make a quick (but prettty!! ) autograph quilt..I'm not sure how to make the blocks so they are easy to sign..most 'advice' tells you to get them signed first..not what I want to do here. so ...help????
    Thank you in advance!!!

I would get some fairly stiff muslin and some marking pens, and have people sign the blocks. What are you going to do if there are more people who want to sign than there are blocks in your quilt? That is why I would start with the signed blocks and then build the quilt from there.

You can iron the squares to freezer paper and that makes them a lot easier to sign.

if the quilt is going to be finished, just fuse some medium weight interfacing to the squares that they will be signing BEFORE you sew it all up, and use a GOOD micron .05 tip pen. Should be fine!
