Hello fellow crafters! I have been pulling out my hair on this. My sister has asked if I can make a baby quilt designed around the attached photo, but I have no idea of the designer or name of the fabric.
There are princesses, dragons, and castles on turquoise blue.

    Can anyone recognize this fabric?

    Thanks in advance!!
    Anne :-)

Sorry I can't help, but it is a very cute fabric. Good luck!

Do you have any idea of when the photo was taken? The older the fabric, the less likely yardage of it can be found.

eBay tends to be a good place to look for older fabrics. I just went there and searched on "princess fabric". It came back with 35 pages of items. I looked through the first 2 pages (thumbnail pictures) and didn't see this fabric. Maybe you will have the patience to go through all 35 pages. You can also put in a "saved search" so that each time new listings come through with the words "princess" and "fabric" in the title, you will get an email notification.

Unfortunately, I have no idea when the photo was taken. I too was concerned that the fabric may be older and thus, harder to find. Thanks for the suggestion!

It looks like the designed fabric I use to see at Hancock's Fabric store. The children's fabrics there were always stocked with designs not usually found.

    Is the fabric flannel?

Was this purchased at a retail store or was it handmade?

In Houston we have a place called High Fashion Fabrics, and I swear if the fabric isn't in the store, you don't need it! If ever I wanted to pay $400 a yard for fabric, this is where I would go. I once bought a formal dress and I wanted to put long sleeves on it, and believe it or not, I found the exact fabric at High Fashion Fabrics!

Here is their website. They don't show everything they have, but their contact information is included - perhaps you could email this photo and they might be able to help you.

    Good luck in your search!

I found the fabric but it has a pink background. At least the name and manufacturer is listed, that may help narrow the search.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! That website also sells the blue fabric. I used that description on Google and the fabric is called:
"Fairy Princess" by Leeré Aldrich for Clothworks.

If anyone is interested, the link below also includes a free quilt pattern using this fabric (which saves me a lot of trouble in creating a new one for my sister!).

Thanks so much for the help and the quick replies! :)
