Has anyone ever used Printed Treasures fabric sheets ? I printed my label just fine but paper backing is coming off in tiny little bits . What did I do wrong ?

I have never used that brand but I wonder if a little heat will help. Try pressing a corner and see if it becomes easier to peel. Good luck.

I use it frequently. Press it face down and gently pull of the backing. Reheating as needed. I had the same problem when I first used it. I heat it, use a pin to gently score the paper and start pulling it off. Good luck.

I have had similar problems. Have wondered .....
if it might have to do with how long the fabric sheets have been around?

Nothing concrete on this ... anyone with any thoughts?

Just warm it up with an iron again and it should come off easier

I had this problem in spite of heating it up as I went along. I also found it very difficult to hand sew the label onto the back of the quilt. I actually wrote to Timeless Treasures and told them of the backing problem and that I would not use their product again. I would much rather print my own labels on fabric.

I always have this problem with Printed Treasures labels. I peel off as much of the paper as I can without spending too much time at it. I then rinse it in a bowl of running water to eliminate excess dyes. After it is wet, I can rub off the rest of the paper easily. If there is a tiny bit of leftover paper, I just leave it in there.

I press it with a dry iron until it is dry. I press under a quarter inch edge all around. Then I spray it with basting spray to keep it in place while I hand sew it on the back.

Like Boston and Quilting Grandma, I found that additional heat would release the paper. Try to start a corner first to grab, then heat for a couple seconds and start peeling the rest of the paper away. I was so frustrated in previous attempts of more soaking and scraping etc. This solved the problem and worked like a charm. Wish I would have tried it sooner!!!!!!
