Kinda know what I am going to do in the center, but each block is different and can't decide how to quilt them. I know that you gals can help me with this. It seems that figuring out how to quilt the quilt is my hardest part of the quilting process.

I would first SITD and then see what your are comfortable with doing. I would look at how other quilter's quilt the block such as Bear Paw and see what you want to do. Flying geese you start in a corner and curve into the block and at the halfway point start curving back to a corner. Do a curve in on all three sides.

are you doing it by hand or by machine. I'd quilt in the ditch for the blocks, and then you're on your own for the center. I love the center of this quilt.

I agree with Maniac Quilter. It really depends on what you are comfortable with and want to use the time for. On the maple leaf, for example, you could simply SitD, or do something more complex such as a flower or the outline of an actual maple leaf (copied and cut out to use as a template.)

This is a terrific quilt, and I'm in your corner when it comes to figuring out the quilting. I have used Leah Days site to help me figure out different ways to quilt my work. Seems like this would lend itself to some fun practice, trying different designs on different blocks. Be fearless and have fun.

Since every section of this lovely quilt is different, I would do different quilting in each. I personally like what I think is called pebbles (different sized circles?) for the white areas behind the buildings. Then pick something appropriate to the design of each square.
