I have found this little machine near me and need opinions. Seller says it was made in 1923 and in "fair" condition. Had a "swing away motor?" Wants me to make offer.

    Any and all opinioins welcomed!

$25. Let him know the motor is unsafe and shouldn't be used. I have one of those motors that came with one of my 66 redeyes. Where is the foot pedal that goes with it? It should be shaped like a foot! If the foot pedal is there, I might pay $50 just for the looks of it. But you have quite a bit of ebow grease ahead of you to make it pretty. Make that known as well.

Thanks! I may just pass on this one. I have 2 now that needs some parts and "elbow grease"!

I guess I see one of these vintage machines and just think I've got to have it!! :) This one is near Brandon, MS so one of my Mississippi board friends might want to look at it!
