My vision, for those of you who missed the thread, is to enlist members who will sew, knit, and crochet quilts, blankets, pillows, and soft toys and animals for anyone who is hurting or displaced in our local area, from infant to elderly. Kind of hard to find a name to encompass all that.

Any ideas? Something that will make people think "hey, what's that all about?"

While we're at it - if this were local to you would you consider being a member?

How about something like Project Recovery or the Lifeguardians?

I know, aren't they? I like so many of them.

I want to keep it butterfly related. I feel the symbolism is appropriate and this website:
    http://www.khandro.net/animal_butterfly.htm
introduces the many ways people have looked at butterflies.

Something like "Butterfly Whispers" or "From the Wings of a Butterfly". Something gentle and sweet, unexpected and subtle, like the scent of lilacs on a breezy day or the sound of wind chimes in the distance.
You might need to be careful about the Butterfly logo? It is a symbol for charities for Hearing Impaired people (as Butterflies are deaf), just as the snail is a symbol for the Cochlear Implant. Good luck with your venture.

My idea is to be called Love Express.. We have a similar group here in Ok. We make the quilts and whatever else we can and give them with a prayer. It is showing Love for our fellow people here who need a bit of love. It changes a persons whole outlook. Good Luck to all you and with your work.

There is NO GUILT if that day you just can't "quilt"

I.m thinking of the fact that the crafts use needles.

    Hugs and needles
    Needles of hope
    United needles or
    Needles united
The anastasia project (anastasia means resurrection like the butterfly)
    Grins and needles

    Crafts of compassion
    crafts for comfort
