Default NeedHelp with curling ribbon border

I have my sides & top& bottom on the quilt but am having trouble with the 4 corners. I amusing 3 triangles in the blocks to do the ribbon blocks. Black is the bigger block and the red & white are the 2 smaller blocks. I guess I don,t know what I,m doing. A picture would help if anyone has one --or an diagram of how they should go.
Thank you all for any information I can get. quilters cache was no help.
I am doing this quilt for my great grandson who has brittle bone disease. Their emblem is the snowflake. I appreciate all of your help greatly.

I've just used that to finish a panel. But now how to quilt those ribbons. I'm a hand quilter. All suggestions will be appreciated! Online search only shows the pieced ribbon but none that I've found are quilted.

When doing a complicated border, I always do a cheater strip between the body of the quilt and the pieced border. I use the same fabric as the quilt top background and cut the cheater strip wider or narrower to make the pieced border fit.

Both those patterns from quilterscache make a beautiful border. Thanks for posting that Gay and thanks to you also wolf3349 for asking the question. I want to keep these ideas in my file for future border ideas.
