    I stopped by the local thrift shop in my neighboring small town. I was looking for a wooden dining table that I could convert into a sewing table. The man said the only thing he had was a sewing machine in a cabinet. So we went to look at it. It turns out IT IS A TREADLE machine. Elgin model in fantastic condition. I didn't get to see it run as there was so much stuff around it but the best part is the price. $35.00. It will be coming to my house next Saturday and I will post pictures. Woo Hoo!!

    Only on this board would I see a title "new baby coming home" and know immediately that it was a sewing machine.
