Welcome Nancy from Arizona, I learned so much on here. The first couple months I took a lot of notes. I found I don't need to do that. You will learn a lot right here.

Every forum has such a wealth of information. I read the posts even if they don't seem to pertain to what I'm looking for -- it surprises me just how much I learn from everyone. We do like our pictures. I agree with giving as much detail as you can when asking questions. Welcome to the Board!

Welcome and remember that most of us started out feeling overwhelmed, because there's just so much information here. You'll get the hang of it quickly. We're all here to help and we're all at different levels. Just continue coming here and take away the knowledge that you need for the day.

I promise you that my first quilts did not look all that fancy but I was proud as heck to have them done. Since those early days I have improved but I am FAR from show-worthy. I show my projects (good, bad, and warts) so we can all share in the experience - sometimes it's simply to enjoy and other times it's to get input.

If you don't start, you can't succeed. Just jump in and see how much support you will find here. You'll be a pro in no time.

This may make you feel better. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...h-t237738.html
