I do the same thing!!! Or even when sewing, one is in my mouth.

Pinning something large, you would need to keep switching it on and off to get the pins up....filling it via the funnell looks like most of the pins will fall on the floor anyway ...and I can almost guarantee the time when you really need it the batteries will have died !
I wonder have they sold any ?.............sorry for being so horrid if you have one and would really like to know if you love it....but I'm going to stick with my box of pins and my pincushion!
I could not say this better myself. I use a small plastic container that fits under my sewing machine table to collect pins as I work and I have couple of magnetic pin holders where I cut and where I iron.

The bobbin winder is something I actually love. I wind a whole bunch of bobbins for all my machines at once. I really like it!

Good comment!!! Too big, too loud and the cost keeps going and going with having to use batteries. Yeah!!! I just saved at least $20. More to spend on fabric!

Won't be buying one any time soon, think it would become a dust collector.

I saw this in the Nancy's Notions catalog last month, and my first reaction was "What the.....!" Now I know that I'm not the only person who feels that way. And I am another who has just about every gadget known to mankind for sewing...but this isn't on my list!

How lazy are we getting that we can't pick up and replace pins on a pin cushion??? This is what Jay Leno would say about it!
