I feel like an idiot, but I can't get it right. It's my mom's machine and she isn't home right now. The needle broke, so I got a new one out and put it in. Well I guess it was crooked because it wasn't sewing right. So instead of keep going like I normally would, I stopped. And tried to put it in again, but it's crooked again. What am I doing wrong??? Why won't it go in straight??

Be sure you are loosing up the screw enough when you take out the needle, so when you put the new one in, it goes all the way up.

The needle goes in with the flat side to the back and threads front to back. If you're used to some other machine, this may be different.

thanks for the help! I put it in, I don't think the screw was tight enough the first time, but because it was the last one I have, I waited til my mom got home to check it before I used it. Works great now!
