    Default OLD eyes!

Does anyone know if there is a light colored self-healing cutting mat made? I have quite a bit of trouble cutting dark fabrics on my dark mat, no matter how much light I have.

Martelli has a yellow one side/purple the other. Kind of pricey, but I love mine!

My Donna Dewberry mat is light blue on one side and light lilac on the other. I don't know if that is light enough to help.

I originally bought it because it was the biggest I could find for the money. I've had it for 2 - 3 years now and have no complaints.

Here is a link to a page with a picture of it. I didn't buy mine from here. This was just the first picture that came up in Google.

Thank you so much! I will sure try that. Those OLFA mats can't be beat for hard use, but they are so dark!

I bought a Fiskars at JoAnn Fabrics, it is yellow on one side and a light green on the other. Best part I was finally able to use a 50% off coupon on it!!

Ginghers has one that is light blue on one side and a light yellowish color on the other side. I bought one at a craft outlet store when we traveling in Michigan about a year ago.
