Karen Kay Buckley's newsletter stated the price of her scissors will be increased due to the shipping costs.

Thank you! I'm now a subscriber to her newsletter! Did not know she had one.

Oh no, I knew prices were going to go up, but now I'm worried I'll never be able to get a new machine. Mine is still chugging along, but I had started saving for a 6650. The price is still the same as it was a few months ago, but if it goes up at all I won't be able to do it. It's bad because our TV is having issues and we'll need a new one soon (we're a 1 TV family), so is our fridge, we need some plumbing work (our boiler/water heater thingy doesn't produce steady hot water so we might need to add a hot water heater), the mower is on it's last legs (my husband keeps repairing things as needed but I'm not sure how long it'll last, funny enough the engine is great it's everything else that's falling apart!) along with some other things we've been saving for.

I read about the port in China a week or so ago so we've been already doing our holiday shopping knowing we might not be able to get things soon (we normally try to have all holiday related shopping done by halloween- we hate shopping around the holidays!). Between that and food and gas sky rocketing it's going to be a rough few months for everyone.
