    Default one more question

I have put the final border on my 'flower garden appliqué' quilt and debating if I should place those nice poppies (another flower in my garden) in the corners and along sides? Once I took a picture of it the color seems to take away from the center pant and the second flower border. I am thinking leaving the last border just white and quilt it pretty, if I can.

    thank you,

I really like your poppies, but I just don't think this is the place for them. If you don't want plain white, how about a random butterfly here and there, In a color that won't take away from your main design.

I agree with you, even yellow poppies will not do, white border it will be, thank you

I think the flower shapes in the center and first border are sort of bell shaped - and the poppies are different.

Also, the red of the poppies seems very "strong" compared to the colors of the other flowers.

I like the plain white border. Perhaps a dark green binding that matches the green used in the center?

I agree with your thoughts completely......white border with pretty quilting would be so nice. Very pretty quilt.

The red is too strong. pick a softer color and you have a winner.

I like the idea of the green binding as bearisgray mentioned.

Very pretty, I like your choice to use a white border.
