I am making two of these quilts for my nieces who are twins. I purchased 4 panels, yardage of the daisy material, yardage of a pink background and black poka dots and yardage of black background with white poka dots.

I have put the first border around of daisy and now what? Do I cut up the other panels and do a border with another material and if so what?????

    Stumped!!!

What final measurements are you aiming for? They are excellent as they are now.

Right now it is 30 1/2 by 46. I was thinking doing two more borders. Not too big though.

Should I use some of the panel pieces for a border? Or not??

It may be hard to use the panel as a boarder. Do you want them the same? The girls may like to have a little different design or boarder so they can feel the ownership of their own. Maybe just switch up the boarders? Very cute fabric choices. I have 2 sets of twins in my class and it is nice when they are not treated as the same.

That is a great idea, I shouldnt make them exactly alike. I probably shouldnt have put that daisy one on both of them now that I am thinking about it.
