I have a new HQ Avante and I am looking to buy needles. Does anyone use the Organ 135 X 5 needles? Do you have others you would recommend?

i buy my machine needles from Handiquilter--
they carry the specific needles for my HQ.
i have not tried needles from other sources- the ones from the company are not over priced- they run the same as any--so i try to avoid issues and use what is called for. the needles i use most of the time are : 14's, 16's and 18's---i have no idea how those sizes compare to what you listed...is the 135x5 mean the size is 135 and there are 5 in a package?
just curious.
the ones i buy from handiquilter come in a package of either 10 or 12- i can't remember now- but i think 10.

I buy these also, it is just not worth taking a chance on other needles.Originally Posted by ckcowl
