    Default patriotic quilt patterns

Can someone refer me to some Patriotic Quilt Patterns? Our guild is honoring men and women who has served in the military by making a quilt for them and being our guest at our Annual Birthday Party.

I would like it to be on the "easy side," so it won't be a struggle to get done. Would appreciate any suggestions anyone has.

    Thanks so much!

You could use any pattern, or I would so. Just use red, white and blue. A double slice by Jenny Doan would be fast and easy. It uses 10" squares. Look on youtube.

I recently saw one in a Pinterest line-up using the Warm Wishes pattern in red, white and blue. The focus fabric was packed flags. What it said was "Wayne Snyder saved to My quilts."
"5th Quilt of Valor. The red and blue strips are 2 1/2". The white strip is 3 1/2". Sew red white blue strips together, cut this 42X7 into 7 1/2" squares. Cut the flag fabric into 7 1/2" squares."

I've added the periods and commas. I hope to use this layout too. May even order patriotic fabric from Marshal Drygoods.

Fon's and Porter has one that I bought but not made it. I think it's call tour of duty or something. This is a quick top to make. I almost never buy a pattern but this is so pretty and quick. I also agree with every one else that you could use any pattern.

I just finished an easy one for Quilts of Valor. It is made with strips and is pretty easy. Let me find a picture. I just bought strips of patriotic fabric that I found on Amazon.

I made a couple of patriotic quilts using Bonnie Hunters pattern for the "dancing" 9 patch. It's GREAT for scraps!
