    I think this is really cool If you have a bag full of small scraps.You can just let your imagination run away with it..
    Use mod Podge to adhere and seal

    Duh why didn't I think of that is perfect. I have done puzzles & other crafty things with it so why not material. Thank you.

    I have been planning on someday doing something like that with a fabric backing, on the longarm machine with funky threads and swirly stitches. Note the "someday".

    I am doing something similar with my scraps... I took a painters canvas and drew a stained glass design on it. Then I have mod podged my fabrics to the canvas. Bordered each piece with black embroidery floss or ribbon. My next step is to put on a couple of coats of polyurethane.

    I love working with little pieces like that - and its fun to put away the sewing machine for a change.
