    Default pinwheel block

I am having a problem getting all the points to match in the center of the pinwheel block. Any help will be appreciated.

I think you will find this video helpful. He first goes through the traditional way to use pins to line up points (which is *very* helpful if you have not already found this technique), but then show his way of using dental floss to keep the points exactly lined up through the stitching process. The same person also has a second video that has a bunch of tips that will help with pin wheel piecing and getting all those diagonals to be just right.

I use a basting stitch on the machine until I get the center sewn just right.

I'm a fan of Elmer's Glue whe trying to get my seams perfectly set. Just a dot on the seam side pressed before stitching does the trick for me and it shouldn't show afterwards if it's just a small dot of glue.

Thanks for the video. I just finished layering 8 pieces for a kaleidoscope quilt. I will try dental floss next time!
