    WEll, if they are quilts that are going to get a lot of wear and washing maybe machine stitching both front and back is not a bad idea. I have have of a king size done and hope to finish in the next couple of days. It has over 400 inches of binding. As others have stated start with the smallest to see out it works out. You could use a decorative stitch on the top.
