    Default QAYG Question

I have 12 blocks I have quilted, using the qayg method. I know how to attach each block together, but how do I attach the rows after I make them?

I believe you use the same method you've used to make the rows. Can you post a picture of a row?

the ones I have done are treated like I am attaching the blocks together - only they are not 12 in square but more like 67" long. I strongly suggest you try doing 2 rows at a time then making them 4 rows, etc. Good luck, it does get cumbersome.

I find it easier to do sections rather than long rows

It is the same method but a longer piece. If you wish you may put in corner stones. Just do all the rows then the others. It is at this time it gets very heavy and looking like a big quilt.

I am getting tortured with trying to put 90" rows together.. I am making four of the same quilts. I am hating life, and do not plan on doing QAYG ever again.

I decided to try DebraK's suggestion. I did it in sections. Here is one of the sections. I have 2 done, 2 more to go.

    Thanks everyone!!
