    Default Quarter Square Triangles

I would like to know if there's a quick and easy way to make qtr. sq. triangles without having to make each one separately. I've seen how to make 8 half-sq. triangles at a time but not 1/4 sq. I need to make eight squares for one block and this is for a KS bed. Making each one separately will take forever. I would like to get this made for Christmas for my DD. I'm only two years behind on her request. Thanks for your help.

Check out Jenny Doan videos. She makes everything so simple. I've found when following her direction, my work looks much better. just Google Jenny Doan or Missouri Star Quilt Company quarter square triangle/videos. That should pull up a video.

I like this technique. It makes two at a time. Needs trimming.
Chain piecing will make it a lot faster. Just have to get all your
fabric cut and ready to go. I don't think QST's is a fast project.
If you think it's too time consuming I would suggest a different
    pattern. Good luck.
You can use the Magic 8 method to make your Half Square Triangles
then turn them to QST's. That's how I would do it for a whole quilt.
    Speeds things up a lot.

This is why I love die cutters, to make 1/2 square and 1/4 square triangles. It also makes them very accurate and this helps put them together and to get accurate blocks. I know it is probably not what you asked but I tried everything and own everything but love my die cutter now I have one.

Here is one featuring the quarter square die. It shows cutting and the piecing of the block.
