    That is a fabulous idea! I could whip up one of those super fast for my niece.... I am also considering making her a quilt as you go mock cathedral windows/orange peel quilt since when I am done piecing, it is already done... there's something to be said about being done when you're done piecing...

    I take that back... I think I found it online. It looks like it is a wall hanging but you can turn it in to a bed sized quilt by adding blocks all around it? I might do that carpenter's star one or do the mock cathedral windows quilt as you go. I'll be working on her quilt this weekend.
