    Default Quilt guild gift

I recently joined a quilting guild and we will have a gift exchange in Dec. The object should be considered a notion and the limit to spend is $10. We will play a game with gifts being handed around so I don't know who will end up with it. What would be a good gift? what would you like to receive?
    Thanks for your ideas.

I often do a JoAnn's coupon and get something that equals out to $10. I'd love to receive a new ruler or machine gloves or even a Klutz glove.

$10 worth of rotary cutting blades...45mm or 60mm

Small items that total up to $10....$1 seam rippers, new pins, marking pencil (Fons&Porter about $7.00)

    Good Chocolate!

Fabric or a sm set of stubby screw drivers, or a pen with something quilting on it. So many things out there that would work.

I would say FQs, but that's not a notion. A good pair of small scissors is always nice. Fine pins. I think we could take a vote and decide that chocolate is a notion.

I definitely do believe chocolate is a notion.

Two F&P seam rippers----------I think they're about $5. IMO, you need two at every chair you use while quilting.

Our local flea market has real GLASS magnifying glasses....for $1!!!! That, along with some "maggies"...(eyeglasses in 1.5 magnification---in my case anyway!!!!) for $1 at the Dollar Store. A roll of parchment paper from Sams/Costco. Super big, i.e. 2.5 gal ziploc bags; various colored Sharpies, blue painters tape....at the list goes on and on...Obviously not suited for more traditional thinkers......actually, I told myself that I needed to find a large lot of scapel blades like the doctors use. I have been buying two similar type blades at Hobby Lobby, and really need a larger stash of these. For me, they beat the heck out of seam rippers!

    Have a nice holiday event!

Maybe one of fancy seam rippers with rubber stitch pieces erasers on the other end. A package of the flower head pins and the magnetic mechanics bowl to put them in. Thread snips on a retractable leash with a clip. A specialty ruler like the Twister, X-block. One of the rubbery doughnuts that holds bobbins.
