    Do you know of any quilt shops in Williamsburg, VA and do you recommend them?

    There is absolutely nothing in Williamsburg. Only one place that even comes close, and they just sell quilts. (among other things) It's at Market Square just off Duke of Gloucester St in the old Post Office.
    There is a JAF, but you can go there anyplace.
    I grew up there and still have family in the area.

    Nancy's Calico Patch is just a short drive down Route 64 from Williamsburg in Newport News. Here is the link to her shop: http://www.ncpquilting.com/

    I've been to the other one in Williamsburg and she does sell fabric, but limited amounts.
    Depending on where you are traveling from, there is a great shop in Charlottesville called Cottonwood. Link is: http://www.cottonwoodquiltshop.com/

    There are some fabulous quilts in the museum in Williamsburg. You may need to call for an appointment though.

    love 2 quilt is right by Busch Gardens. Its a really nice store. I go there when ever I go up that way from Norfolk.
