Default The Quilt Show w/Alex Anderson and Ricky

Do you have a membership? Worth the price? I do the puzzles to prove I don't have Alz like Mom.

Interested in others responses. Alex Anderson is not my favorite but used to love her tv show that focused on guest teachers. Is it like that or just Alex and Ricky.

I have had a membership for many years. I really enjoy the shows even though the topic may not be what I’m particularly interested in. The different guests show their specialty and I almost always learn something. Because of COVID Ricky & Alex are hosting the shows separately. They have a special 6 month membership now so you might want to try that.
By the way I love doing the puzzles too and you don’t have to be a member.

If you join (pay the yrly fee) you see guest stars doing their thing. Often there is a segment when either one of them shows you a technique but the main part is the guest. Some of them I am not interested in but it sure gives you a lot to think about. I love the fact I can watch the guest any time as you get to go back in time and watch the old shows. I actually have all the old ones on DVD but they no longer offer that. I find it well worth my money. I used to pay as much for the DVDs as the yrly fee.

The shows are very good. I most always learn something from each one. I wish I could remember it all when I need it.

I have a membership and really enjoy it.

Currently they have a special on which is a real deal. I think it is 6 months for $19.95? For that you get their new shows, newsletters plus access to all of their old shows with a really great search function. I think it's the best offer out there right now.

I’ve had a membership for quite a few years. It’s worth it for the special shows, I think. I’ve been watching the YouTubes every M, W and F with Alex. I’m not participating in the quilt alongs, but it’s something quilty to watch. IMO Alex isn’t that great of a teacher, but she’s made some nice quilts.

No, I don't. I get an abbreviated version free but I'm not all that interested in it.

I joined for a year because I wanted the BOMs that were available then. (I still haven't made any of them though.) I thought I would watch the shows, but never did. There are so many quilting resources available, many free, that no one can keep up with all of them.
