Wow, those are awesome. This is the first I've heard of them.

    My next three bookmarks...

The thing I like the most about using Derwent Inktense pencils is how beautiful colors are when applied to fabric and moistening with clear aloe vera gel.

I just can't stop looking at these trading cards/bookmarks because of the beautiful colors.

Thanks for the compliment. I had never heard of these until this summer in my art quilt group. You can find lots of them when you do a Google image search for artist trading cards or ACEO (art cards editions and originals). Only some are done on fabric.

Thanks, but I'm not really that talented. You can get ideas anywhere. I even saw someone's avatar (photo) on this board which would make a great trading card.

I draw designs into the dimensions I have marked with pencil on high thread count bleached muslin. Coloring, applying gel, and tracing with ink are easy, easy, easy.

They are even better when you hold them in your hands. I'm not trying to pat myself on the back. It's just that the real thing is better than the picture.

Try it. You might surprise yourself.

Given what I've seen, you, too, should be writing for QA!!! I really love how bright & clear the colors are from those pencils. I guess I just might have to get some & try my unartistic hand at coloring!
