    Question Quilted Shawl

I found this on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8_XvvkKjyM

Its a quilted shawl which I was looking for in the patterns at the store and didn't find any that I liked.
She does give the measurements and instructions on how to lay out and cut.

I was wondering if any of you had seen a quilted shawl or just fleece shawl that would be any easier to make than the above one?? If so please share a link with us here on QB.

Or, has anyone made one from her directions?

    TIA, Jennifer

Here's the one I've been thinking about making. She uses a jelly roll, but provides dimensions so you could do different piecing on the top, or use a piece of uncut yardage. If you knit, it reminds me of making a steek in a knitted piece of fabric.

I bought a pattern off e bay by Kimura, called bamboo Goddess. It is an older pattern for a hug, shrug or flirt. Very cute and looks easy to make.

Never heard or seen a quilted shawl. I'm thinking it would be nice and warm. I will have to pass on it though, I just cover all of me with a quilt for the fews hours I was TV.

Thanks Evie, I printed it off. I hope to make one for my Aunt Jeanne who is 89!

I am just finishing one up using the Quilted Hug Project pattern. I used 33 2.5" strips. Goes together quickly. I spray basted the fleece for quilting just for ease. Turned out well. I suspect I will be making more of them.
