Default Quilters in and around Killeen, TX

My husband is traveling there in a few days to visit the base. I have searched and can not see any quilt shops in Killeen proper. Is this the case? Are their others nearby?

Looks like Temple, TX has several (not too far from Killeen). Here's the link to one - http://www.tomorrowsquilts.com/

There are a few shops. It's been a few years since I was at Ft Hood. Try Carol's Creations (254)628-8788 Quilter's Workshop (254)793-8005. Killeen Sew and Quilt (254)616-2200 and Quiltin Country (254 )554-3700. Call to see if they are still in business and where they are

Tomorrows Quilts is actually in Waco, not Temple. Waco is about 20-30 miles North of Temple. My daughter just graduated from Baylor last year, so I've been to this Quilt store several times during her four years in Waco. It's a very nice Quilt shop. Nothing spectacular about it, but I've bought several things there.

Sew and quilt is in Killeen, no other shops left in that town, there is a new shop in Copperas Cove, do no know name of it, about 5 miles west of Killeen, Temple has a sew and quilt also but in Salado about 15 miles south east of Killeen , is a real nice shop called Sewing Basket. I live in Salado, if you want PM me when in area and I would be glad to help guide you around. Enjoy your stay in the area.

There are a couple of shops in Round Rock, which is just south. I believe one of them is off of I-35 on the east side. Not sure what the name is though.

There is a bernina quilt shop on 31st street in Temple. But about 15 minutes down the hwy in Salado, there is a very charming quilt shop. The name escapes me right now, but it is very lovely. And, Salado is a great town for unique shopping.
