Quilters Hall of Fame
Just got back from the QHOF to see Ruth McDowell inducted as the 45 recipient . WOOOOOW what an education. Not only was there an display of 65 of her quilts never before hung together but she talk on their creation. She has done over 600 quilts most collected by private collection of quilters. If any of you haven't gone to QHOF please go. Don't miss Marie Webster's house. I met Eleanor Burns , she really is a delightful lady. Mimi Derrick will be next years inductee, and she gave a class that was so relaxing and informative. She laughs easy and is a very giving teacher. Ann Shaw had a class and I can testify she is assume. She will teach about anywhere so if your guild has her let the rest of us know. You will be happy you got her.

Do you mean Mimi Dietrich?
What a wonderful experience you had. I saw Ruth McDowell once at a guild meeting (not one of my guilds, had to travel to Portland for that one). She was an excellent, exciting speaker, and her quilts are enchanting. I love the way she puts ordinary fabrics together and comes up with goats or cows or chickens or just about anything she thinks of. What a gift!

I just googled Quilters Hall of Fame and found their website. Now I have to go back and look it over.
