    I just want to add my suggestion. Wash and dry your flannel fabric first and sew with a deeper seam than a scant 1/4 inch because it can unravel with lots of loving use. Perhaps a 3/8 seam.

    Starching the fabric after prewashing can make it easier to work with too :D:D:D
