Quilting a lone star

How would you quilt a lone star?

I did a gentle curve from each point of the diamond on all four sides. Feathers are always beautiful in the background square and triangles.

More info please. Are you hand quilting, longarm quilting or machine quilting on a domestic sewing machine?

What is your expertise? How confident are you with FMQ if doing by machine?

On a regular sewing machine I would FMQ it so I wouldn't have to turn the quilt through the harp OR use my walking foot to SITD (stitch in the ditch) on the seam lines. If I had a long arm I might do ruler work to emphasize the pattern.

I hand quilted mine and just did sitd for the star points. I quilted larger motifs in the background.
