What brand rotary cutters do you prefer? Are the Gingher worth the additional cost?

I have a really pretty pair of Ginghers, but I still reach for my Olfas all the time - the Ginghers are cold to touch.

I can only speak for myself, but switching to a Gingher rotary cutter was like turning the light on in a dim room - it just seemed to make cutting that much easier!

So for me, yes, it was worth it.

I usually grab my Olfa but I have a Martelli and really like using it, too.

That's what I had before, and it lasted for years. When it broke I completely splurged on the Ginghers.

They are not necessary to get the job done. But it made the job easier, for me.
