I was talking to someone who doesn't quilt today and they told me they heard that some quilters use scotchgusrd on their quilts to protect them from spills. Did anyone see everyday of this?

Have never used for quilting but have used on a cross-stitch WH I hung in the bathroom & didn't want damaged by moisture.

I use Scotchguard on all my table runners and toppers. (My family is NOT spill-proof). If you blot the spill right away, there's no staining. Doesn't affect the fabric-I've been doing this for years.
