Scottie Dog Squares
I have 18 of these 5 inch squares and want to use them in a cushion or cushions.
The only idea I can come up with is to alternate the squares with a plain red or tartan squares.
Can anyone come up with a more interesting idea?

I hadn’t thought of trying to match the black and white fabrics - thank you for that!

* hourglass blocks can create some nice interest, yet keep the focus on your printed fabric, giving a SIAS effect, but with a lot less work.
* frame each with one fabric (perhaps a 1" finished) and then join together. Could use an assortment of fabrics/colours, but my first thoughts would be an assortment of black prints, to keep with the theme of the Scotties colourings, and let the red come alive!
