    Default scraps for bias binding

Thought this was an interesting technique, though a long time to make. But using the gadgets for making bias binding it would be a lot quicker, with no ironing, & no backing or batting.

    place mats, chair covers etc

I watched part of the tutorial. It is not a new technique but one that does make a lot of bias binding without having to to piece a passel of smaller strips. I have a card from one of my local quilt shops that shows this same process and the card is at least 30 years old. Just proves that it works and is worth reviving every now and again. Thanks for the reminder of a good idea. .

I do understand why one would use bias binding for a project that requires going around curves, but I don't see why one would use bias binding for this particular project.
