    Default sewing caddie chair cushion

In September, 2014, I attended a Bonnie Hunter class in Amherst, NY. A fellow quitter had a chair cushion with sides attached which had pockets to hold sewing stuff....rulers, scissors, pencils, etc. I think it was made with placemats and maybe a purchased chair cushion. She was nice enough to tell me how to make it, but I was so busy learning from Bonnie, I didn't write it down and now of course I can't remember how she did it. I tried to Google it but nothing like it came up. Anyone know what I am describing and perhaps have directions? Thanks for your ideas in advance!

sounds cool. I'd like to figure out something to attach to the passenger side of the car that would fit any vehicle.
The idea of starting with a placemat is a good one.

That blog was interesting and may have to be the way I go, thank you. I still would love to find the one made with placemats though. I think it included a purchased chair seat cushion as well.

I liked the one on the blog, but had a thought...I would probably put some ties on it so the it doesn't come sliding off every time you got up. Or one could sew that rubbery shelf liner to the bottom. I would still do the ties though.
