Dont you think that the rubber dots lift the ruler somewhat? I took a class with Sally Collins recently (precision piecing maniac!) and she suggested the little sand paper dots for the rulers. I really like them. The rulers stay right on the fabric. She also recommended something she gets from Home Depot, but I can't remember. Alot cheaper, but since I can't remember, I just get the dots from JoAnns. It was some special sandpaper. Not just ordinary sandpaper.

How do you fold your fabric if it is 44-45"? the ruler only cuts 12" lengths, or am I looking at it all wrong.

Using it makes easy ties for a no-sew fleece throw.

I ordered a June Tailor Shape Cut ruler this past spring and used it for the first time today. I just love it! It made it so easy to cut the strips, once I figured out how to calculate the numbering for the strip widths. So easy to cut the full width strips - the ruler didn't slip and I could make a second and third cut without having to move the ruler.

    This ruler is a keeper!

I use mine all the time. I'm in the middle of a log cabin right now. You can imagine what a workout the Shape Cutter has gotten! It's the busiest tool I have next to my machine! 8-)

Bought one recently myself. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. Looking forward to checking it out soon.
