    They do make one that is used to cut single fold fabric, it has a 22" or 23" cutting area. Otherwise, you carefully fold the fabric in half twice to cut.

    Love my shape cut ruler! Always surprised when I find out someone doesn't have one or know what it is. Once I show them how quick it is for cutting, they usually say they will be buying one asap.

    I love mine. I found out that part of problem (I'm prtty new at this) is my cuts were't that perfect. The shape cut really helped.

    I agree with you Linda, and to avoid that problem I just line up the zero line at the beginning of the fabric and trim it even that way. I just finished cutting many strips for the double wedding ring pattern and they work perfectly.
